Vortex Sparc 2. Junk? Great? Pros/cons? Option B. is a aimpoint T1-H1 but I don't plan on using nightvision and if the gains quality differences/gains arnt worth the extra $400 then the sparc is the direction Ill be going.

SPARC sights are far from junk. They are actually amazingly tough which has been proven by some brutal testing I've seen online. It sure seems like you would have to really try hard to get it to stop working. If it does break for any reason, it's covered by the best warranty you can get.

I had the original SPARC and thought it worked quite well.

Sparc 2 is GTG. Had one for 6 months or so, no complaints at all. Sold it after I got a good deal on a H-1 combo.

I don't like the obvious strobing from the PWM on the Sparc II. My cousin runs it and I run the T1. T1 is smaller, tougher, less flickery when panning the gun, and of course has many times the battery life.
