Has anyone tried one of these? How do they hold up compared to aimpoint pro?

They are good. I have 3 of them. Besides the price, the ability to change the led from red to green is a plus.  I had one failed out of the box due to a switch problem with the led.  Simple email with Vortex CS and problem solved in two weeks.

Have no played with an Aimpoint Pro. I have the older M2 but it holds up to that model.

I have a couple Vortex Gen Is. I also had an Aimpoint Pro. I recently sold the Aimpoint because the Vortex does the job at 1/4 the price. I can only imagine the Gen II is even better.

I have a StrikeFire gen 1, multiple StrikeFire gen 2s and a Vortex Spark. All of these Vortex products have been good to go for several years. No problems with Vortex. IF you do ... just give them a call and they will make it right. That's all there is to it. No worries with any Vortex product.

I prefer the green dot with all my StrikeFrires.

Buy a couple extra batteries and you won't have to replace them for a LONG time. Obviously it depends on how often you use it. Aimpoints can be left on for consecutive years while Vortex products have auto-shutoffs to conserve battery life.

My dad has it and likes it and it's nice but I'll take the PA advanced red dot over it any day of the week. I prefer the buttons on the PA over the vortex.
