Good morning all,

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get the SWFA 12X scope for my LR308 build. I will be shooting out to 750 yards. What scope mount would be a good place to start? Any tips would be appreciated

Thanks

PEPR mount or SWFA SSALT mount would be perfect. I use the PEPR mount.

Where's that PEPR mount made? I haven't looked at one.

I would suggest a LaRue or ADM Recon series for everything, especially a 308 with a large scope.

On a 308 you have a long enough upper rail space to use regular separate rings.  Seekins and Warne are common choices for fixed mounts.  If you need return to zero capability for acess to irons, LaRue makes nice lever QD separates.  I use one piece cantilever mounts on the shorter AR15 uppers, but they are not needed on a 308.  Separates are lighter and give you more adnustment Nd spacing options.
