I need help remembering a new BUIS that came out recently, that I have forgotten the maker of...

I remember it impressed me. It was fairly small, nearly micro. Folding. It had a really small rear aperture, as specified in its ad.

I know that is very vague... But it came out recently, I saw it when I was half drunk and now I have forgotten who made it.  I've been searching without much luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you thinking of Spike's Tactical billet buis? The front is a magpul "knockoff" of the Mbus Pro, and the rear is a "knockoff" of KAC 600m micro.
They are well made, fairly new, and cheaper than those they cloned.

Just how drunk were you?

I'm also looking for micro sights, so... in.

The Spikes are great.  I have 2 sets of them, the Magpul PROs and the KACs, I don't really think they are a knockoff of either.  Good BUIS, I highly recommend.  They be small when flat

I have to check out the spikes. I saw them when they were released but forgot about them until now. I always brush off the "cloning" you can only reinvent sights so much.

ETA: Alaska, what do you prefer having all 3 sets?

If I am shooting irons...Matech and an A2 FSB

Seriously, between the 3, it has to go to KAC.  The price blows.  If you are not cloning, and want a good set of micros, I would go with the Spikes.  All 3 will serve you well, Magpul did great with the PROs, it was a smart move.

Who are you addressing? It's common knowledge the ST billets are VERY Mbus Pro like for fronts and VERY Kac like for rears (except made of aluminum instead of the better melonited steel Mbus Pro).
But they (ST) fit that price point (less than MP/Kac).

The sight in question specifically advertised its aperture size... It was rather tiny. The Spike's doesn't.

I thought it was a new product... Maybe I just came across a thread from a while back when it was new... I dunno, I was drunk.

Things it wasn't:

KAC,
Spike's,
Magpul.
