I have two budget scopes in mind for my M&P 15 sport.
Just want to see some opinions from the AR15 community.

Primary Arms 1-6x ACSS

Or
Bushnell 1-4x PCL

I have had good luck with the Nikon M223 series of scopes for my AR's. I have ones with and without the bullet drop compensation built in. Very good scopes out to 300-400 yards.

The Nikons are clear and bright but, they seem heavy to me....... especially for a light wieght carbine rifle (if that is your goal).
I have tried a few different scopes in the $200- $400 range.
3x9 Vortex Diamondhead, 2x7 Vortex Crossfire, 2x7 Burris E1, even a GI issue EOTech and Aimpoint, and a 1-4 Burris MTAC but, so far I am liking my new 1-6X Primary Arms better than all of them.
Good investment for me.
$ for $ and the quality: I cannot say enuf about this scope......

Yes so far the PA 1-6x ACSS is my front runner. But they are hard to catch in stock.
And the bids prices go crazy on eBay 400+ w/out the mount. When they sell for 260 on PA.
That is what lead me to the Bushnell 1-4x PCL. Cause I can pick up one of them for 250 w/ a decent mount.
Plus they are easier to get a hold of. But I having heard a lot about it or came across many reviews for it.
Basically I am looking for a light weight illuminated 1-(4or6)x AR scope that is reliable and won't break the bank.
I like to stick w/ one that goes down to 1x so it somewhat doubles as a red dot.
Also I am cross eye dominated and like to shoot w/ both eyes open in CQB.

Upon receiving my first Busnell PCL, about a month ago, I immediately purchased a second. They way they implemented FFP is stellar, with the 1x reticle being small enough that all the "noisiness" goes away. And, at 4x, the hashmarks are actually big enough to be useful. I've been through numerous 1-x scopes, and this is my favorite. BTW, Amazon has these for $199.

Haven't tried the PA 1-6 yet, but I do love Primary Arms. When I got the email today, that they were available, I had the urge to buy. But I'm too broke, at the moment. And I'm really digging my recent PCL purchases.  Also, from what I've seen online, that PA reticle looks a bit busy for 1x rapid use. But again, I do like and respect Primary Arms.

Both good AR budget scopes. I don't think you could go wrong, if you bought one of each. Pick up the PCL 1st, and get the PA when it's available at MSRP or under.
