| Hi i'm currently looking for a Open Reflex Sight like the Center Point Tactical Open Reflex Sight from cabelas but i owned one before and it felt kinda cheap in my opinion. Anyone have a recommended open reflex sight that looks like the center point but dosent seem cheap and is reliable? |

Redfield Accelerator This and its more rugged and brilliant (glass) stable mate, the Leupold Delta Point 2, upon which it seems based. Those Chinese reflex sights seem to be made all in the same factory with different commercial labels. I tried one of those from Sightmark. It was for a fun gun 22LR with low expectations, and it still failed miserably. So many problems I don't know where to begin, but I'll try. Very difficult to sight in. Once sighted in and the adjudtments locked, it didn't hold zero, even with the mild recoil of .22LR. Bump it and zero was gone. And that was the good part. What about four different reticle choices that all shot to different points of impact! Battery life was abysmal, and the maximum dot intensity was not sufficient to use in full sunlight. Other than that, it was great (throat clearing sound, here). Look at the $200 Redfield Accelerator. I've not gotten one in hand yet. Hopefully we'll get a full independent review soon. It was just released. |

At first I was hell bent on getting a reflex sight. Almost bought the sightmark, glad I was talked into the Vortex Strikefire. One day, I hope to buy an Aimpoint or Eotech, for now I am happy. right now a primary arms 30mm red dot is on it but was looking for a reflex sight for in home CQB defense |
