I just finished assembling what I am calling my "precision AR" and needed to get some glass on it to test it out. I may upgrade in the future, but in the meantime I just picked up one of these from Optics Planet and am awaiting delivery.
Bushnell AR Optics 3-12X I also ordered a Burris PEPR to mount it. I was just wondering if anybody here had some experience with it. I had read some good reviews on different websites so I figured I would give it a try and its not that big of a risk at around $200 for the scope/mount combo (with the 10% fathers day sale). The range I shoot out maxes out at 200 yards but will probably do most of my shooting at 100 yards. I know its kinda late since I already ordered it, but I thought I would ask here to see if anybody is using this scope or one of the similar models. |

its pretty much overkill for 200 and under. that said, see my username. I have a 6-16x50 on my AR and all I shoot is less than 200. its nice being able to use it as a spotting scope too. Honestly, that's why I got the 3-12 over the 3-9 Where in PA are you? |
| I have the 1-4x AR Optics from Bushnell and have liked it a lot so far. I also have the Pepr mount....had to use some blue locktite on the ring screws because they'd loosen over time. Other than that I have really liked the combo. It has held its zero very well having it on and off a dozen times or more. Adjustments were accurate and it tracks well. |
