I bought a DPMS Oracle .223 for predator hunting (coyote, fox, & bobcat) as I'm an avid pred. hunter. Just want a basic rifle w/ a nice scope no thrills or BS. My shots on predators are generally inside 100 yds. but we get the occasional 250+ yard shot & I'm thinking of either a Leupold VX2 2-7x33 or VX3 3.5-10x40, what do you think? Is there a better predator scope for shots generally inside 200 yds?

Leupold makes great scopes and I'd go with the VX3. It should gather a bit more light which you'll need hunting coyotes.
