Hello All,

I have a question. Has any of you AR15 Gurus used the KNS replacement front sight posts? I am waiting on buying a Real optic. I'm intrigued by their cross hair front sight posts. I run a MBUS in the rear with a Fmarked FSB. Would these posts be any more accurate than the standard square mil-spec post?

Any comments are welcome! Thanks in advance!

Never used the cross hair but I do use their precision posts.  I originally got them to use on my fixed carry handle, irons only rifle.  I like the tapered post with the small ball on top, known as the round post.  I bought the big 7 pack because I'm stupid.

Their posts come in three sizes.   .034. .052 and .072.  .072 is the standard size of an ar front sight

The .052 is the perfect size for me.  I have good young eyes and I strained when using the smallest, .034 size post.

My groups shrunk dramatically by the way and no longer felt under gunned with my irons only rig.

Eta,  my eyes strained seeing the smallest post when using the long sight radius of a rifle length upper.  With a shorter, carbine length sight radius, the smaller post may very well have worked just fine

This, the KNS .052 bead works great for me!  The cross-hair thing seems like a gimmick to me.

I have the .034 step down post on a recce and my brother uses it on an SPR-ish.  We both found that the smaller post does aid your ability to be precise against smaller targets.  I think the difference is magnified the shorter your sight radius is.  At some point I'll get around to putting them on all my rifles that have irons.
