A noob type of question.

I bought one of those Primary Arms micro dot and magnifier in the recent deal they had.

I have never installed a magnifier on an AR 15.

Anything I should know that is out of the common sense area for installing a magnifier?

Any info would be appreciated if there are little tidbits or other unique installation things about magnifiers I should know.

It goes BEHIND the optic.

Other than that there isn't much to it in my experience.  I had one H-1 that seemed to like the magnifier one slot further back than other optics (focused the dot better for some reason).  So you might play with the spacing a little to see what works best for that optic and your eyes.  I've only used Eotech models but the whole concept is pretty simple/hard to mess up.  Doubt it will be any different with the PA product.

Update:  It went on just like you said.

No problems and the view through the optics is very good IMHO.
