For people familiar with Troy BUIS... mounted on an AR 15 platform..where does Troy have them set when you receive them new in the package? Are they pretty much already set up for 50/200 yards or it could be anything.

I have a set of DD and Troy fixed sights, and both were set to mechanical zero from the factory. You will have to take it to the range and zero it yourself.

I beleive that would mean in the middle of their adjustment range. So they are not set for any range specifically. Take them out and zero them.
