I am new to AR's and I just got my first one, I am wondering if picatinny rails are universal and if the Aim point Pro red dot sight will fit on my Stag 3GH upper?

Yes, the Aimpoint will fit. Good choice going with an Aimpoint PRO

It will fit just fine. Picatinny rails are mil spec and have to be exactly the same or they are not picatinny rails
