New to the forum and ar's in general. Ive been reading on here for a few months now and decided to sign up. I recently purchased my first ar15. It's a sig sauer 516. I wanted something for plinking, varmint hunting, and occasional deer hunting. After putting several hundred rounds downrange with iron sights I have decided I need something a little better. I'm picking up a eotech 552 in a few weeks hopefully, and I bought a 3x magnifier from eBay (I know I know but it's wwaayy cheaper and i figure having a quality optic is probably more important than the magnifier for now, I can always upgrade later).

Anyone care to give me advice on how to properly set all this up? Also my sig has od green magpul furniture, I would like to paint parts of the eotech and magnifier to match. I'm guessing duracoat is the way to go here but I have no experience with it. I am an automotive painter so I have full confidence that I can do it with a little guidance, plus I have all the equipment needed to do it properly. If there is a cheaper solution that works almost as well I'm open to suggestions. Thanks for reading!
