Because the M4 and M16A2 25 meter zero targets use a 4 centimeter circle to represent the width of a e-type silhouette, and since 4 centimeter also equals 1.574 inches; a target that is 300 meters away would equal the width of a front sight post that is 0.06296 inches?

1.574/25=0.06296

So, is my math adding up (as the saying goes) when the principles of MOA are applied?

Depends on how far away from the eyeball that post is. E.g., carbine post appears bigger than rifle post even though they are both the same size.
