I'd check there, but as far as I know, you can't.  Mostly due to output measurements really. You can find the DBAL units in a type 1 IR laser, but thats it last I heard.  The NV forum and TNVC are the guys to go to.

Only gov organizations can buy those (or other restricted lasers)

There are some very nice Class 1 IR units available from Laser Devices, Crimson Trace, Wilcox, and soon Insight/L3.

You can check out the Class 1 section at TNVC to see what's currently available. The Wilcox unit is available from another company exclusively.

It is not illegal for you to have an ATPIAL, but as a civilian you will never get one drop-shipped to you new from L-3/EOTech. You can occasionally find them on the secondary market, but they are usually very expensive and of questionable origin. You also will not get any factory warranty support.

I don't agree with any of this, but that's the current state of affairs regarding military IR lasers.

The Class-1 stuff is probably the best option for civvies.

I think most of us are hoping that a low-powered version of the ATPIAL (identical to full-powered version in every way except IR laser output) will make it to market at some point, but there hasn't been any evidence that will happen; then again, no one thought FN would release factory CQC barrels. So, like Kevin Garnett, anything is possible.

There is a visible laser version that military members (and probably civilians) can buy from Insight. Their military price is about $700.
