Has anyone sent in their Vortex for repair? I was wondering about their turnaround time. I recently bought a 1-4 PST and I have a problem with it right out of the box. I could send it back to the company I bought it from but they are out of stock, or I could send it in for repair.

I sent a Vortex StrikeFire back for repair. They repaired it correctly and I had it back in hand less than two weeks from when I first dropped it in the mail to Vortex. I'm very happy with their customer service. Thats really about the longest Ive personally heard of. MOST are handled in about 1 week. |

I wanted to try a PST 1-4x, but I've seen one too many of these threads. Please explain? Please do. What threads? |

I bought a box store demo shelf PST Viper 1-4x about a year ago, Dec of '12.
After getting it home, I discovered that it ate batteries rather quickly....on the order of 3min of use = dead I used the scope hard for half of '13s 3Gun season, and during a break in August, I sent it in. Shipped on a Monday, they received it Wednesday. It showed up Saturday. I was floored. It was a battery cap issue. Shorting out, maybe? Otherwise, I love the scope. I have purchased a SPARC and plan to purchase a Razor HD GenII based on my experience. Highly recommend them. |
