I've been sitting a Remington 700 AAC-SD for about a year now and I'm finally getting around to getting a mount and scope for it.

I randomly came across Nightforce's direct mount system for the Rem 700 rifles --> Nightforce direct mount rings

Does anyone have any experience with these? They are Nightforce so I'm assuming they are high quality.

Any disadvantage to going with this over a regular picatinny base and rings besides being able to change out ring sizes and heights?

I have them on a 700 with a NXS scope, they sure make it hard to screw up mounting the scope. They sure make great stuff just wish it was cheaper.
