Received my third one today, I am slowly switching from Eotech to the PRO. This one did not come with the objective lens flip cover. I ordered it from Midway and have a question about it sent to them. Zeroed it this afternoon. The more I use the PRO, the more I like it. I have two XPS Eotechs. They both have a slight drain on the battery and I have to replace the battery once a year regardless of how much I use them. On two occasions I have pulled one from the safe to find out it would not turn on due to dead battery. Otherwise, I like them, just I like the position of the PRO a little better with it's near 1/3 witness.

Anybody else have problems with Eotechs still draining batteries in storage? Minor issue, I know.

Zeroed at 50 m today. Put this one on the Daniel Defense

I have an Eotech 512, never had an issue with battery drainage, however I changed batteries once a year. I replaced the Eotech with an Aimpoint Pro, but plan on keeping and putting the 512 on second AR when I get around to getting one.

Hehehue. I was thinking the same. OP just wants to tell us how much they like the PRO.

I have a 512 and an EXPS2-2.  I change batteries on New Years Day and 4th of July.  Not because i need to, but because I have unpleasant memories of those crappy Ever-Ready Batteries in the 60's leaking in my toys, and my toys are more expensive now, and I have to buy them myself.

Agree. Funny you mention the dead battery out of the safe. I had the same experience a couple weeks ago. We're your batteries covered with a brown oily substance?
