I'm looking to get a scope for my wife's POF's 16" 5.56 carbine.  I've tried to teach her mil dot, she just can't understand the concept.  Any advise on a simple but durable scope is greatly appreciated.  Here are the parameters
Cost- under $500.00
BDC- yes.  But simple to understand
Shooting distances-  50 to 550 yards

Thank you for any help

What about a Burris MTAC 1-4 or the Fullfield TAC 30. They are illuminated and have a simple drop comp out to 600 yards

Nikon also makes the M223 series with a BDC reticle, but they are not illuminated
