So For my HD rifle I want to try an Aimpoint. I am leaning to the pro because longer battery life. I just want to leave the optic on and forget about it. But The T1 is a lot smaller. is it worth the extra $150 extra?

T1 is lighter and smaller. Has longer battery life with batteries that can be bought anywhere any batteries are sold. Well worth the extra $

I prefer the mounting options for the Pro.  I believe they are stronger.  The added weight does not bother me since I don't use other accessories.

Make sure you look through a T1 first. Might try your HTF and see if someone will let you shoot with one. I've talked to some people who don't like it due to its size.

I have both and they are both awesome. The t1 with 2 moa is great and is the I prefer due to size and it keeping my sbr nice and light. You can't go wrong with either but remember if u decide to get a magnifier that's a lot of real estate being used on the rifle not including weight. If your not interested in a magifier and wanna save 250 bux go with the pro. U can also go with the h1 which is same optic expect casing is different bit it's slightly cheaper.

If you have the money, T1 all the way.  I had an M3 (very similar size to the pro) a while back, and while it worked great, the T1 beats it hands down due to its smaller size and weight.

For a single dot reticle I prefer the Aimpoint micro and anything bigger I'll just stick with an Eotech. YMMV.

ETA: the T1 has a longer battery life vs the Pro btw.

Besides the obvious size/weight savings, the T1's switch is less susceptible to breaking from impacts (that's why the CompM4 was designed w/the switch physically disconnected from the adjustment knob). Micro or CompM4/M4S over any other Aimpoint, IMHO.
