Hey guys, im looking for an affordable red dot. I shoot mainly for fun, so i dont need a $500 optic. These both seem like solid options. Has anyone handled both so you can give me a decent comparison? Thanks

I can only speak of the HD7, although i have heard decent things of the sparc.
The first thing i noticed is the hd7 is very heavy for a red dot. However its built very well as i have already dropped it off the quad and zero is still held. I really like how it uses AAA batteries. The multi-redicles is neat, but not really needed, at least for my use (POI remained the same in my limited testing). I do like mine and would buy it again, although it might be worth waiting for lucid's m7 to be released. Also i believe it has a lifetime as long as YOU own warranty. But you might want to check on that. |
