I have a fixed 10x scope and would like advice on a QD mount that will raise it so I can leave my folding rear sight on and have my head a little more upright when looking through it. The rings that came with it are 1/2" from the rail to the bottom of the rings. Also would like it to hold zero when removed and re attached. Thanks |
| I have a 2.5 -10X scope I use a Larue Tactical LT-104 SPR mount. It cantilevers the scope forward over the handguard and clears a Troy folding BUIS just fine. I'm not sure if it will clear a Magpul MBUS, if you use one, but Larue has alot of mounting solutions with QD that absolutely return to zero. |

Mines just a 10x with a 3.5 eye relief so I don't want it cantilevered forward. My BUIS is a Troy Battle night sight so if I can get an 1 1/2 rise I should be fine for focal plane between me and the scope and clear everything but I'm a noob to optics. Guess I'll try Larue. Just wasn't wanting LaRue prices. |
