I recently purchased my first QD mount and am not sure how to gauge the tightness for the QD levers.  With other mounts, I simply set the torque driver to spec and go.  Any suggestions on how best to get adequate torque and still be able to close levers?  Or is this just a trial and error process?

Many thanks for your advice.

Trial & error..

It's a bit of a pita to get 'em both adjusted to where you like. I have mine where it takes a good bit of pressure to close them. But once I got it set it seems to keep the setting after removal / re-mounting several times.

Yup, trial and error.  If there was another way I got to figure the Burris people would have went ahead and put some damned instructions in the package.

Fortunately, it's not terribly difficult to work through.  Just take a good close look at how it works and you'll figure it out.
