i have tried 3 different redots two aimpoints and 1 eotech. i love them but due too my astigmatism the dot just looks crappy and the eotech fuzzy. i had a acog ta01 and really liked it. is there something you guys would recommend in the 650 700 dollar range thats good for 25yards up too 300. would a 1-4 be the best or should i just go with a acog. used on the EE. im really just wanting something that will look better with my astigmatism and i have never owned a actual AR scope. heres the gun its going on.

Check out the Trijicon TR-24.  Simple reticles that are excellent for a 50/200m zero.  Well built, excellent glass, etc.

Maybe look into the Burris AR-532 or AR-332. These are 5x and 3x (respectively) fixed mag compact scopes that are illuminated, but have etched reticles not dots.
that are under $400.
