So I managed to drop my AR onto concrete where it landed on my Comp M2. Broke the on/off knob clean off.
Packed it up, sent to to aimpoiont service for repair. It was a second hand unit, not under any warranty, I am fine with that. My problem is its been 4 weeks(delivery confirmation) and I havn't heard a thing, they dont answer my emails and when you call there is no option to talk to a live person,, you have to leave a message. No one has returned my call. Is this SOP for them? Do I need to contact the Post Office and inquire about a case of mail fraud? |
| I emailed EOtech about my battery cover connector falling out they responded in a day in a half and sent me a battery cover free other than shipping handled by my end now I have had a comp ML2 but never had to deal with aimpoint that really disappoints me that this happens great product horrible CS will stray lots of customers away if it gets spread around. |

I e-mailed Eotech about two years ago. I still haven't heard anything back. Weird. I got an email back within minutes... just asking them a question. I had a simple question too. "Can I use your sight on my 50Beowulf rifle?" I would have bought one if they had answered me. |
| Yes. I've sent back an H1 for warranty service before. I want to say it was about 6 weeks, from the time I sent it in until the time I got it back. I e-mail a couple of times, got one or two responses but no tracking numnber. Just showed up in my mailbox one day. IIRC, they all get sent back to Sweden and it can take some time. |

A lot of this is news to me.
I purchased a T-1 on a LaRue mount and removing the T-1 I stripped the screw post. I emailed Aimpoint and promptly got a reply back in two days. They said fill out an RMA form and send the form with my sight and a digital copy of the form by email back. It took a week for UPS to send it back to Aimpoint. After a few days of receipt Aimpoint said the post was unrepairable, they'd ship me back a new one. About another week later got my new T-1 and it's been sitting pretty on my AK. All together it took about three weeks to get everything taken care of. |
