I was between the PRO and C3 and went with the PRO just to have the option of NV in the future. I received it today and think I will almost always be using the second brightest or absolute brightest setting, and the absolute brightest setting is so much brighter than the second that the dot bleeds badly and the entire inside of the optic turns red.
So I'm wondering if I would have been better off with the C3 which has an additional three brightness settings. Thoughts? TIA. |
| The brighter settings do bloom quite a bit when used indoors or in lower light, but outdoors the bloom is gone and you are left with a nice clean dot. I am able to use my PRO in full AZ sun as well as in low-light and don't really see the need for more settings. The only time I use the top setting is when I have full sun shining directly on a light colored target, otherwise it's just overkill. |
