Hi Guys
In a few weeks I am shooting in an urban contact match, from 100 down to 25 yards. I'm thinking of removing the (fairly big) scope from my rifle, and fitting the XPS and Gen 1 magnifier from my .22LR. If it makes any difference, the XPS is mounted on a YHM riser so would be lower third co-witnessed if iron sights were fitted. For reasons I won't bore you with, the only opportunity I have to zero it will be at 25 yards. I'm thinking of going with this, then just aiming off at 50, 75 and 100 yards. My ballistic software indicates that a 25 yard zero would be approx 2 to 3 MOA high from 50 to 100 yards, meaning I will just have to aim slightly low at these ranges. Does that sound about right? Cheers Dan |
