Hi Guys

In a few weeks I am shooting in an urban contact match, from 100 down to 25 yards. I'm thinking of removing the (fairly big) scope from my rifle, and fitting the XPS and Gen 1 magnifier from my .22LR. If it makes any difference, the XPS is mounted on a YHM riser so would be lower third co-witnessed if iron sights were fitted.

For reasons I won't bore you with, the only opportunity I have to zero it will be at 25 yards. I'm thinking of going with this, then just aiming off at 50, 75 and 100 yards. My ballistic software indicates that a 25 yard zero would be approx 2 to 3 MOA high from 50 to 100 yards, meaning I will just have to aim slightly low at these ranges.

Does that sound about right?

Cheers

Dan

You could do that, or use one of the 25yd zero targets that shows you where to bring your point of aim for a 50yd zero. If I remember right, it's about 1" low at 25yds.

Sounds like a plan. Are they available from Eotechs website?
