| ok so i have a matech, and i love the fact that it has elevation adjustments that are very easy to use. now if i zero it on the 200 setting at 50yrds, will it be on at the other settings? or do i have to zero in meters |

Quoted:
I zero mine POA = POI at 50 yards, set on the 200 meter index mark and have had good results to 300; no opportunity to shoot further. Remember, the MATECH is engineered to complement NATO standard M855 ballistics. If that's not what you're shooting, YMWV. Thanks for the reply, i do zero it with M855. Its goo to hear it works, i really like the quick elevation adjustments on the matech i just wasnt sure if they worked if you zero in yards vs meters |

Yes, it should be close.
When I zero'd it at 25/300 w/ the military, I was able to consistently get hits out to 200 meters w/ the setting on 300. The 250 and 300m target were a bit less consistently hit, but I'm sure that was me more than the sight. Remember, with the trajectory of a 5.56, you're only losing a couple inches between 200 and 300 yards in elevation. There's some chart in one of the stickies that shows trajectory at distance, between a 200 and 300m zero. |
