[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Close-mid range rifle scope

I'm looking or a rifle scope for a future LaRue OBR 5.56 and I want something like a 1-8 power scope with no from bell. Illumination isn't too important but it would be nice and finger adjustable target turrets would be awesome. Looking to use the rifle for a varmint gun and try to slap steel out to six or seven hundred yards just for fun. Any suggestions? Thanks guys

Honestly right now my budget is anything under like $800. This is a future build. Just planning stuff out. I'm a college student so this will be bought around the summer.
