I've got two Matech sights, one I know is legit; however, a second one I just received is questionable. It does not have Matech stamped on the underside, but rather a cage code (3DB52). The legit one is a rev B, the other I'm not sure of. The one of unknown origin came in a blue bag and inside the blue bag, it was in brown paper marked " Shannon PKG, Mil-Dtl-117H, TY.2CL.CST.1". The label on the blue bag has the following info on it:

1005014848000
P/N: 12996812
Cage: 3DB52
Back up iron sight assy 5.56 mm
W52H0908D0097/0002
M31-7/09
WT:0.21

The red loctite normally found on the screw was not present - it had some weird yellowish/tan gunk on the screw. It also did not come with an instruction sheet, any opinions?

I have read many times that there are early and later versions, and also that Matech being less popular and inexpensive clones aren't made.
Not 100% sure just what I've read......

Cage code is for Design West in Orange, CA.  Both sights match.  Yours in the blue bag are just like all the others shipped to the military.  Some have red some have yellowish locktite.
