Going with a 16" Mid length carbine LW, flat top w 12 inch rail. No FSB. Aimpoint H1 on 1/3 co-witness Daniel Defense Mount

Trying to decise on best BUIS combination. I can get a LMT front and rear fixed for $78 (6 oz?) or a Magpul foldable front and rear for $85 (2.5oz). These are delivered pricing.

The LMT will block the fov somewhat. Suggestions and alternates welcome.

Troy folding Battlesights. It's all personal preference, however. You first need to decide for yourself whether or not you want a fixed buis or the folding types.

I'd spend the extra, and go with Troys.  Buy once, cry once.  I've used the Magpul, and they're not bad, but they're no Troys.  I have no experience with LMT.

Okay, add to the mix, $188 troy foldable front and rear, delivered. 3.2 oz per manufacture. They are not heavy.

However, these are expensive, can't dispute cry once philosophy...

Magpuls are great on the budget minded. I have no problems with the MBUIS. If you have the cash, go with the Troys.

Troy for fold over and LMT (built like tanks) for fixed BUIS.
