I'm thinking about going with an EXPS2-0 for my 11.5" pistol/eventual SBR build and have a few questions.

I've done a bunch of research but can't find the thread that said what the differences between the EXPS2-0 and the OPMOD version (if there are any)

Additionally, who has the best deal going right now on a EXPS2-0?

I purchased both of mine from Sports Optics online $451.53...excellent pricing...I am very happy with my EXPS 2-0

LOL...no problem! I did not find it any cheaper anywhere else. The EXPS is much brighter than my 512...I can easily see it in sunshine where as with the 512 I can not

I was hoping to find a sub-$400 deal, but I'd probably have to downgrade to a XPS2-0 to find one that cheaply.

There aren't any differences.  OPMOD was Optics Planet's name for the EXPS2-0 when they had an exclusive on it.  Initially, the EXPS2-0 was only available from Optics Planet.

Good to know, I was hoping that was the case.

I'm taking a gamble and ordered one from Botach for $421.18... we'll see if/when it arrives.

You're going to love it, I have the EXPS-2 on my AR, actually just bought it from a friend of mine, it's a great optic.  Very user-friendly, bright, and co-witnesses well with irons, in case the battery runs out and you don't have spares.

Let us know what you think of it once you get some time to play around at the range with it!

XPS = Absolute

EXPS = Lower 1/3
