When you send an ACOG in to Trijicon to have
them replace the Tritium and cracked fiber optic, is there a cost, or is that covered under their lifetime warranty? Thanks in advance. kz |
| The fiber optic rod was replaced for free on my TA50. They will take it apart, inspect and adjust without charge as well from my experience with Trijicon. But the Tritium is another story. It is expected to get less and less bright every year and they measure that level. If it is in the range they expect they will not re-lume it for you. If you want this done it's like $250 or so. |

There are a lot of threads here about this, but I sure wish it was pinned somewhere or within one of the other pinned topics about Trijicon.
Some have reported $200 or more and others have reported $400, $500 or more to replace the tritium. I'm trying to search for one of those topics, but I can't find one Most end up contacting Trijicon and hear it from the source. Some have reported back with different figures.

I have heard horrible stories about Trijicon's customer service, but have never experienced it. I have only recieved excellent service myself. I sent in an ACOG for scratched front/rear lens that was obviously from abuse. They charged me less then $100 to replace both lens, the fiber optic rod, new adjustment knobs and return shipping. I never inquired to the replacement cost of tritium.
I have sent in a Tripower as I thought the tritium was weak. They returned it and stated it was within their specs. So while I don't care for the Tripower mainly based on the very dim tritium, I am happy with the service I recieved. |

I sent in an ACOG TA11H-g for windage and elevation adjustment problems. In about 4 weeks I received a brand new, not a refurb, replacement ACOG TA11H-g, . |
| ACOG has always given good customer service to me. I have had the same one on my rifle for about 6 years. I sent it in about 6 months ago for a look over. They replaced the rear lens even though I didnt ask, for free. I guess it depends on the tech and CS phone rep. |
