Are you sure that you are using the correct screws? There are two
different lengths depending on which base you are using. If you are
using the lower 1/3 co-witness spacer then you need to use the longer
screws, but if you aren't using the spacer (absolute co-witness or low
mount) then you will use the shorter screws.



If you try to use
the longer screws with the low mount or absolute co-witness mount the
screws will bottom out in the holes before it tightens the mount all the
way and the sight will be a little loose.
