Any reason why I shouldn't buy an ARMS BUIS?

Everyone - please keep comments on-topic. This is about ARMS sights, not Dick Swan.

Nope, they're great. I've been using them for over a decade and I've never had any problems.

Agreed.  I have two ARMS 40L-SP rear BUIS in use and I think they are great sights.

No issues here with my Arms 40L - have owned it for a decade now.

For the money, you can get much better sights than ARMs.  I have had issues in the past with the bolt that holds the screw in breaking since it sticks out a little and can get bumped.   Also, I am not a fan of spring loaded BUIS.  I much prefer getting Troy or Midwest Industries rear BUIS for the same money.  Both MI and Troy make very low profile options as well if you need to run it under an optic.

If you are going to leave your BUIS up all the time, take a look at Daniel Defense or LaRue's fixed rear BUIS.  Also, LMT makes a great fixed rear BUIS as well that you can find for $70-80 new on EE from time to time.

Do a search, you'll see ARMS 40's that have fell apart with lite use.(as with MANY ARMS products). As for the owner, why support a company that doesn't support you?A Troy for example is a much better buis.
ETA-They all don't use an ARMS 40 either

Well im speaking from personal use of 2 arms buis for over a year now and both are going strong.

Also west coast navy eod do use arms buis with their mk18's(the ones equipped with vltor casv rails and magpul m93 stocks)

Edit: i couldn find any legit broken arms buis that were not done on purpose with a hammer and chisel

Everytime someone brings up arms buis you put it down, my guess is its all about the owner. Honestly i dont care who he is or what hes done, he makes good buis
