I have been looking at a detachable A2 type carry handle for my gun, and the differences in the prices are amazing. I wouldn't have thought that there could be too much of a difference between the different manufacturers, but some run from $36.00 and $149.99. Are there really differences in quality that deserve more than a $100 difference? Basically, what is the cheapest carry handle that will hold zero, is finished nicely, and won't fall off? Thanks.

The brand name, forge mark, or the stock rifle it came off should be a good indicator on the quality.
You can pick up a RRA/Colt/Bushmaster/ carry handle for $50-$75 in EE. New.. I would at least try to spend $70 http://palmettostatearmory.com/1935.php |

I don't have a cheap carry handle, but I do have a cheap LMT type Airsoft knockoff rear sight. Long story short, yes, there is a $100 difference between the two.
Get a BCM carry handle and you will not be disappointed, or go to EE and get a used one that used to sit on a Colt. |
