what is the difference between vortex hs and the pst?

Different reticles, PSTs are illuminated and most of the HSs aren't. Some of the PSTs have First Focal Plane options. Also, the PSTs can be had with mRAD or MOA adjustments/reticles while it looks like the HSs are strictly MOA.



Those are the big differences I've seen from looking over their website.

i went and saw one at buckeye outdoors and the only difference i saw was the turrets and i'm talking about 1-4

The adjustment range on elevation/windage is 220 MOA for the PST while the HS is only 90 MOA. HS has capped turrets while the PST are uncapped. The PST also has the Zero Stop Elevation turret, so once in place it's easy to bring it back to zero once setup. The PST also offers an mRAD reticle/turrets if you'd rather use the mRAD system instead of MOA. It looks like everything else is exactly the same.
