OK, I think I've picked out the S&W M&P 15OR model for my first AR-15 platform.  I want to make sure with you guys I can do with it what I want optics wise:

Because I'm cross eye dominant (and my right eye is significantly weaker than my left) iron sites simply don't work for me.  So I'm going for holographic optics right away.  But I can see myself also wanting a some magnification via a scope, and perhaps even some night sight capability too.  I've heard that the scope I select should flip up from the side and can work in conjunction with the optics.  This raises several questions in my mind:

1.  Does the rifle I've selected have the proper rail system to support mounting such a configuration?
2.  I'm likely going to go EoTech for the holographic optic.  Any recommendation on a specific model which works better in conjunction with a scope?  Is there one I should be sure NOT to get?  Or is this a non-issue?
3.  Any scope recommendation which would give me good magnification out to 200 yards?

Use the Question guide on eotechs  website it asks a couple of questions and gives you some models to compare. You probably want a 553 or Exps3 to meet your needs.

Just my 2cents as I am still pretty new
