| I recently got rid of my tr24r and i'm looking for something to replace it. I like the illumination that it offered day and night. I may go with another accupoint with the german crosshair but i'm looking at others also. What about burris or meopta? I would also like to know more about nightforce. I read the big thread that someone here posted when reviewing the swfa model but i'm looking for other input as well. |

If daylight illumination is the most important feature, get the TR24. If you want stadia lines for cheap, get the Burris Tac30. If you want stadia lines useful at any range and decent glass, get the SWFA. The Meopta has decent illumination, but still needs a battery and lacks stadia lines. The Nightforce, while it's probably the toughest and has the best glass of the bunch, doesn't have as good of reticle choices as the others. For the record, I have a lot of experience with the TR24, a little experience with the Burris and Meopta, and no hands on experience with the SWFA and NF. |
