For my general-purpose AR, I can't decide between my TA31F ACOG and my T1 Aimpoint. Can I just "choose both"? Each sits on a Larue QD mount; do those retain zero well enough to switch back and forth between the two, while retaining a consistent zero?

larue mounts hold zero very very very well

Yes. You should have no problem switching between the two and retaining zero as long as the LT lever tension is correctly adjusted. Someone from Larue once said that if you can open the lever with one hand, then it's not tight enough.

Have you thought about mounting the T1 in a LT offset mount?

Just buy an AimCOG and be done with it.

Kidding, unfortunately.  Swap em out all day long!  Otherwise have you considered an Accupoint or other 1-4 variable?  I've never been a fan of offset anything.  One primary sight is enough for my tastes.  Others like them however.

Mark Larue, brother. Texan. American. (May God bless you).

Please, sir, make a 1 o'clock offset from horizontal for the RMR.

tl;dr,

Get both.

Thanks for the responses! I've already "got both". My other ARs are precision builds and have optics already; and this is the last AWB AR I have, so it looks like I'll try switching between both.
