| what Mount do you guys prefer? this will be going on a flat top AR with BUIS front and rear. I want to keep it as light as possible and sturdy at the same time. ive narrowed my choices down to the DD mount and the LARUE mount. any other sight suggestions will be helpful as well. |
| I like the KAC mount. It has QD and spacers to adjust to three different heights. I find it more aesthetically pleasing than the Larue or ADM; don't care for the DD mount, but I'm sure it's decent (no QD which is a bummer). The KAC isn't designed to return to zero in the same way that Larue does, so that may be a turnoff to some (I mean, why have QD with no RTZ?). Then again, I haven't heard of any reports indicating a major loss of zero (but have read some indicating no loss). |

I think GG&G makes the best mount for the Micro. Also, if you don't already have the sight, they offer a great package deal.

| Have a couple LaRue mounts and they're fine but going to try a KAC mount. Should have it in a couple of days. As noted above, you pay a bit more, but it offers much better flexibility. I use T-1s on ARs, SAGE EBRs, PS90s and Benelli M4 shotguns. Nice to be able to use the mount with spacers as required. |
