I'm interested in getting one and have read several good reviews.
Has anyone used one and can give a review.
Thanks in advance.

Lucid comes up from time to time.  Most of the reviews I know of are from 2009-2010, so they are archived.

The guys on who have bought them seem to like them.

Here's my rundown.
Pro's:  Reasonable price, turrets, multiple reticles, bright, return to zero, durable and lifetime warranty(haven't had any problems with my optic).

Con's: no lens covers available, i find the auto brightness useless(I don't like this feature on any optic)

If they would just make some proper lens covers there would be no downsides to a product that already in functional use is comparable to items that cost twice as much.  People will tell you that the battery doesn't last as long as an aimpoint, true... unless you're going to be in the middle of nowhere for months at a time, who cares... it's a moot point.  It seems durable but I would say it's unproven, I haven't seen any extreme durability tests and I haven't kicked mine around a parking lot or thrown it out of a building.  Frankly speaking I'm sure my rifle and optic will never have to survive a fall from a second story building or be dragged by a runaway truck so again for me this is a moot point.

Over the years I've owned an eotech and an aimpoint and this.  I would say in terms of functional performance it's comparable to any of the good nonmagnified reddots on the market.  The only thing it really lacks to either the eotech or aimpoint is an extreme durability and ability to button down the hatches so to speak.  I prefer using the lucidhd7 over both the eotech and aimpoint because of the turrets and ability to quickly adjust the range on my reticle.  I find it a huge pain in the butt to have to break out a tool/coin to adjust my windage and elevation.

I have one, and it has worked well.  It hasn't seen a whole lot of use, and no abuse, but so far I like it.

I would buy another if I needed it.

Bought one.  Liked it so much I bought a 2nd.  Did have the red dot go out on one.  Returned it for warrantee repair (my RMA was either 3 or 4, so not many had been returned for warrantee).  Company owner called me back and said he took it apart and found a bad solder connection from the battery compartment.  Told me he took a new one and put it on a device to simulate 300 magnum recoil (or maybe it was 375 magnum) and cycled it 150 times and all was well...would I like that one or another new one?  I said please send the 150 times cycled one.  It's been fine ever since.  I like the fact that on mine, when you change the reticle, the point of impact stays the same.
