Looking into a rubber cover for the aimpoint pro, are they really worth it? Figure the rubber would help if it ever gets banged around. Does everyone run a cover?

I use the cover that came with my ml3, I wouldn't worry about not having one if it didn't come with it though.
I don't think it's worth buying the cover. IMHO / my .02 / yadayada
ETA: If YOU want it get it.

Yes its a good idea anything that helps protects your optics for just a few bucks can't be a bad thing.

Some guys on here don't use a cover but some do ,I'm from the school that if it protects my $600.00 optic then I'm all for using one .
I like things not all banged up looking, not looking like it was thrown down the driveway.I want it to look like new for as long as I can.

I purchased a rubber cover for my Pro. I figure it will help protect the optic from getting banged up, and hopefully help keep the resale value high later down the road should I ever sell the Pro.
However, I don't think I will ever bang up my optic because of the way I handle my rifle....but you never know what's going to happen.

I purchased the M3 cover for my M2. Figure it was worth it to keep it from getting scratched.
