| Does the Vortex Viper PST come with the zero stop shims, or do I have to order them as an accessory? |
| dont know if this will fully answer your question, but I emailed Larue about getting a viper PST and using the LT-139, they said itll work but I may have to mount the scope as far rearward as possible, so i'm sure the LT-139's longer eye relief isnt really needed. |

I also emailed LaRue, but I had several questions in my email, and they glossed over the eye relief question. They say the LT-139 was made for scopes like the Trijicon Accupoint's long eye relief of 3.6 inches... The Vortex Viper PST claims to have eye relief of 4 inches. It would seem that the LT-139 is required at that point, but the dimensions of the scope could affect how its mounted in the mount, and where it needs to be on the rail. |
| I have my 1-4 PST mounted in a LT-139. I shoot NTCH, and it works perfect. Honestly, I think either one would be just fine, the eye relief on that scope is pretty forgiving. Mine is setup so that the mount is as far forward on the upper as it will get. I got the 139 before I had my PST in hand, and just wanted to make sure that I got it right the first time. |
