I have an Aimpoint Comp ML3 and a Comp M2. The M2 is probably about 4 or so years old. Zero problems. The ML3 is only about 6 months old and hasn't had a problem one.

I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me and say "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.

Had a H2 that started flicker problem that turned into a only worked at certain windage and elevation settings.
Sent it back to aimpoint, they replaced it, sold the new one. Didn't have the same confidence in it as before. Still have a PRO, but never shot with it yet. I replaced the H2 with 2 MROs and have had no issues with them. |

I own two H-1 Micro dots and one T-1 micro dot. I've never had a problem and never seen one fail. I've run them through two week long courses and several day-long courses including the Advanced Carbine course at Gunsite. Zero issues. |

A new T1 that I bought several years ago that was heavily discounted during a bing live sale (377 with mount, I think?) is still using the same battery that it came with. No hiccups. Have ran it on several platforms, including M11/9mm. It's currently on an SBR'd 9mm PCC that I run USPSA matches with. Great Optic.
Oh, and an M2 that has been trouble free. Sometimes forget about the ones that don't cause any headaches. |

I have a M2, bought used 15 years, works great Bought a M4 new over 10 years ago, had a Duracell leak in it. Sent it to Aimpoint, told them to let me know of any charges, they fixed it up for free. Bought 3 PRO’s 1 new, 2 used, all work great. Had 6 EoTechs, all have had to go back for warranty. |

Aimpoints that I own from oldest to the newest: T-1 (1): Battery cap would need to be tightened again whenever it's been out in 33 degrees or less weather. Sent back to Aimpoint and was replaced. Zero issues ever since. H-1 (1): Easily stripped one screw hole, Aimpoint asked no questions after sending back and replaced. Problem free ever since. Pro (3): No issues other than a loose knob on one, the other two have been flawless. T-2 (2): No issues. H-1 (1): No issues. Duty (1): Sight height is different from both the T/H-1 or T/H-2 series, but other than that which is trivial to the purpose of this thread, zero issues so far so good. |
| I was issued an M68 in 2003 for my M4. Trained hard with it including shooting courses and vehicle Operations, which is probably where weapons get banged around the most. Never any issues with it. In 2010 I chose to switch to the Elcan. |

| Five T2's currently and have owned 12. Only one issue with an ADM high riser mount stripping a T2 helicoil. RMA'ed and back in 10 days free of charge. Returned the mount. |

I have a few T1's and a T2. One of the T1's (4MOA) had a dot that went supernova. Looked like what people with astigmatism describe seeing. Aimpoint customer service actually suggested I might have astigmatism but I was able to provide pics comparing it to one of my others showing it was indeed the optic, plus the fact that it was fine-then it wasn't  . They replaced it with a 2MOA for me, not sure what caused the issue.

I have a Comp ML that I bought sometime around 9/11, and a Comp ML2 that I bought a couple of years later. The older ML spent 10 years or so on my M16, thousands of rounds per year, no problems at all. The ML2 has seen less use but also flawless. Getting ready to buy a new PRO for my new build... |

| Owned a T1, Comp M4, PRO, T2, and most recently the Duty RDS. Not a single problem ever with the exception being the PRO battery life isn't nearly as good as it's advertised to be. The jury is out on the Duty RDS so far but if it makes it 6 months on a day light bright setting it'll be superior to the PRO. |

Comp M2 (purch. 2004) --- > No issues... #1 Comp M4s (purch. 2008) ---->It is my first comp M4s and it sits on my primary rifle. One known problem, a rotary knob issue; on two occasions, when on lowest setting, dot would go to brightest setting. It gets turned all the way down only when transporting the weapon in a case, so this was not enough of an issue to warrant me sending it in for service. #2 Comp M4s (purch. around 2012) ---- > No issues #3 Comp M4s (purch. 2016) ---- > No issues #4 Comp M4s (purch. 2017) ---- > No issues |

Over the years I've had... 2x CompM4S 2x PRO 1x T1 1x T2 Still have 1x M4s, PRO and T2. 0 issues with any of them. Sorry I'm not going to look up the DOP on them but the T2 is probably the newest and is probably ~5yo now. The M4S is the oldest was probably purchased ~2010? |

| I've owned two Comp M2's old and abused but function flawlessly and now have just 2 Pro's in my bundle. Of my two Pro's I sent one in for a new illumination dial to be installed because me in a drunken rage used my rifle/optic to beat thru a drywall wall and it didn't even dent the damn thing just broke the dial. I was upfront with Aimpoint and they still repaired it for free!!! Tough as nails and customer service is the shit..............Just recently dropped one mounted in the Wilcox mount from about 5' dead on it's head on the concrete and all it's got is a slight dent to the outer front objective ring.....perfectly zero's and functional..... |

Let’s see….. Comp M2 purchased in 2004? Rotary switch gone bad, comes back after a little wiggle. Comp M bought used I don’t know how long ago. Works great. R1 bought on clearance from Midway many moons ago. Flawless. Used Aimpoint 2000 night sight-unseen off eBay  Doesn’t work, haven’t devoted the time to look into it. 5000Xd, switch does the same thing as the M2, sometimes needs a little nudge to encourage it to be at full power. |

aimpoint pro purchased 2021 and the dial was lose and dot would blink in and out (same day purchased so it was broken leaving the factory- one slipped past QC) it was for my patrol rifle so aimpoint cross shipped next day air. I had the new one before getting the broken one in the mail back to them best customer service ever. im not sure if they did it because of being on a duty rifle or they do that for everyone though. Iv owned compm3, pro, aco, ml2, never a problem. i have a comp m3 thats over 15 years old still strong. Used the aimpoint in the military (USMC) and never an issue |

I have two Aimpoint CompM2 sights. I can’t remember but I think it was around 2008 when I got them and they have consecutive serial numbers, literally made next to each other. One is on my AR-15, the other is on my DPMS LR-308. I haven’t had a problem with either so far. I think I’ve only changed the batteries twice in both as I normally store them turned off but I have forgot to turn them off on occasion. They are not safe queens as I use them like the tools they are, so far they have served me well. |
| Bought my first Comp M2 in 2003 and I still have it to this day, it's an awesome optic. Scored a M3 back in 2011 and I still have that one as well. I've been using the M68 for almost 20 years now and it's kind of amazing that such a simple design still has relevance after all of these years. I've been in various units throughout my career and have been afforded the ability to use the ACOG on several of my issued weapons, but I have almost always switched it out to use the old M68 or the newer Comp M4s that started to replace the older 68, that is if the Aimpoints were available in the arms room. The ACOG is a great idea and is super rugged, but the eye relief, at least for me, is simply terrible. I picked up an Aimpoint 3x magnifier several years back and started toting that from duty station to duty station. It works great on the 68, however, the 4 moa dot gets a little big under magnification but it works really well. Using the magnifier on a Comp M4 with its 2 moa dot is awesome. Aimpoint makes some of the best, rugged, and reliable red dots sights in the industry, my opinion of course, and my experience with them is only limited to their larger optics such as the Comp 2 to Comp 4 series. |

I have owned on 3 separate occasions, an Aimpoint 2000. One of them I bought from my friend who sold me my first AR. The other 2 were from sellers on TOS. I've also owned an R1 (M4C 2008-2009?), CompM2 (from Sportsman's Warehouse about 2008), and currently own a CompC3 (bought from Doublestar in 2014) and ML3 (Buds Gun Shop in 2013). None of them have given me any trouble whatsoever. I figured out years ago that the 2000s could be run with a CR123 battery and eventually turned mine on to the same intensity as my CompM2. It went 7 months before I sold it. |
