In 2010, I was issued an Eotech 552.A65 Rev F, (Not sure when it was originally purchased because it was re-issued to me).
It died within the first few hours of range use during training. New batteries were tried, it worked a few minutes, then died again. Sent back to Eotech, another optic was taken from the armory and it worked. What was wrong? I believe it was the battery contacts. |

I bought a brand-new unused still in the box Eotech XPS-3 From a member here with a stellar reputation.
A few of the reflectors in it were not angled properly causing the reticle to dim in certain parts of the window. I contacted Eotech about it and they repaired it under warranty for me free of charge. I had it back in six days including shipping both ways. I ended up giving it to a family member with full disclosure, and feel that I can no longer trust one of these optics. |
