Any reason why people do not use this style red dot?

| Actually, a lot of competitive shooters use them. They are very rugged and light, and will withstand a lot of recoil without losing zero. For a long time SSK recommended them for their very hard kicking handguns. However, they aren't "milspec", , they don't have super-long battery life, nor do they have that tactical look so many people want. Mine is about 15 years old, and has stood up to a lot of FA fire. I'd rather have it then almost any of the clones. |
