[ARCHIVED THREAD] - vortex red dot scopes

any one used one or have one? do you like it ? do you also have the magnifier?

I only have a Strikefire ( red dot) on my weapon but it has held up for over a year. IMHO it's a good scope for the money for better betty life you can spend another 300 for a big name RD but I choose to buy ammo. PS life time warry.

I have had a strikefire for almost 2 years and no issues yet . I changed the battery at 1 year just because . It is now on a 16 inch carbine but has rested on my 458 socom , mossberg 12 guage shotgun and 22lr.

I've had mie over a year on a 16in barreled carbine and have been very happy with it. Mine is the red or green dot the longer i've had it I prefer the green setting most of the time. I don't have any experience with their magnifiers But I do have a used aimpoint I bought cheap mounted behind it and it works great with the strikefire.
