| I am torn and seeking some information regarding the Vortex Strikefire red/green dot optic and adding the vortex magnifier that goes with it to my Bushmaster 5.56. I have been toiling with Aimpoint optics yet can't seem to convince myself to hand over that much money, although advice between the two or other suggestions are appreciated I find my real problem in selecting a mount for this. LaRue makes the Tactical QD Pivot Mount and associated mounts that are designed to maintain absolute co-witness if the magnifier is not engaged, however these mounts are desigend for Aimpoint, will this system work with the Vortex Strikefire in place of the Aimpoint? If so what mounts from Larue are best for co-witness with iron sights? Any helpful input is greatly appreciated! |
