I just got a new Nikon M-223 2 x 8 BDC and need a mount for it.  I really like the American Defense Recon QD Mount, Tan but it is a 30mm mount and the Nikon is a 1".  What would I need to do to mount the M-223 to the AD? Or should I get the LaRue Tactical SPR / M4 Scope Mount QD LT-104?  QD is necessary for my preference as I change from red dot to Nikon.  Thanks for any opinions.

Here is my Spikes it will mount to:

I would get a different ADM mount if you like them or pick up a larue. I think I'm getting a larue lt139-1 for my m223 1-4x.

I bought a Bobro from Ranier Arms and mounted a straight 10x Bushnell Elite Tactical Mil-Dot which is a one inch tube. Love it. Return to Zero is spot-on and mount is made extremely well. I like the positive lock on it better than the Larue throw levers. Only Down side is installing the scope requires a special shortened hex head (that they provide), thier mount uses nuts instead of screws, the screws are integrel with the rings, I personally recommend it, I think it is a sweet rig. Looks like the eye relief for the Nikon is about 4 inches which means you might need an extended mount, rather than the standard mount. Eye relief for my scope is 3.5 and I have a standard Bobro.
